Hands-on certification training: Dog CPR, First Aid + Safety
Increase the safety of the dogs in your care while increasing trust and confidence in the humans who love them – your clients!
Pet first aid certification training is fast becoming a requirement in the eyes of savvy pup parents when choosing a pet care provider — and I’m here to hook you up with the proper training and certification cards to go with it! My standard hands-on workshops are authorized through the Emergency Care and Safety Institute, covering essential lifesaving skills such as the latest guidelines for canine and feline CPR as well as first aid for choking, bleeding, heatstroke, car accidents, bite wounds, how to read vital signs, muzzling, how to read body language, proper restraint techniques and more.
These workshops are typically about 4-5 hours depending on class size, held on-site at your location or off-site at the park. Everyone gets personalized, hands-on training and guidance on the training mannikins, a color first aid guide and certification card.
My workshops are fun, casual, and managers report they’re a great confidence and team building experience for staff. I also welcome your crew to bring their own well behaved dogs so we can practice certain skills on them, such as how to read vital signs or muzzle. It’s serious training, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have a good time!
I work primarily in Southern California but am often available to travel.
